pasco-pasport-respiration-rate-sensor-24874
PASCO PasPort Respiration Rate Sensor

The Respiration Rate sensor uses the PASCO Relative Pressure Sensor along with a Respiration Belt to measure the change in pressure as the chest cavity expands and contracts during breathing. The Respiration Belt is wrapped around the lower part of the ribcage at the base of the sternum, and inflated with a rubber bulb. The belt is then attached to the sensor for data collection. Typical applications for this would include comparing respiration rate before and after exercise, calculating correlations between heart rate and respiration rate, or determining the effects of altitude on respiration. It is designed to be used with the various PasPort interface devices, such as the USB Link, the PowerLink, the Xplorer dataloggers, or the SPARK.
