In the second DVD, Tony and Linda model the planning and the payoffs involved in teaching extended writing units. Through selected clips, they first walk through a collaborative, whole-class unit on report writing. Then they show in detail how first-and second-grade students apply this new learning as they create their own individual reports. This DVD concludes with a peak on a persuasive writing unit with kindergarteners.
