It includes word prediction to assist students for whom physical keyboarding is difficult. The software contains an image library of 1000 graphics that provide representation of many words the student types. Material may be scanned into Clicker for manipulation by the student. The software reads back the student's writing in a voice the student selects.    Students may use a system of organizing grids to layout words and pictures under study or which will be incorporated later in a word processed piece of writing.    Students with mobility and cognitive disabilities may find the software a useful tool when recommended as part of the assistive technology plan of the overall student program plan.    Technical Considerations:  The hybrid CD will work with current Macintosh and Windows operating systems.   Windows computer requirements: PII 200 or greater, 32 Mb RAM, 50 Mb Hard disk, Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP  Macintosh computer requirements: Power Mac or above, 32 Mb free RAM, 75 Mb hard disk, MacOS 7.5.3 or above, Mac OS 8, Mac OS 9, Mac OS X. Clicker 4 is an assistive technology software for students for whom assistive technology has been recommended through the student's Program Planning.
