CoWriter: This is a word prediction program for those who struggle with writing due to a learning or physical disability or for those new to the English language. This program works with any word processor or word text program to make the writing process easier and faster. This program is easy to use and change preferences once the basic features are known. It provides excellent assistance with a good word prediction rate. The instruction manual is also clear and concise.    This program helps students when writing by predicting words from initial spelling attempts. This could be of assistance to ESL students or students with other reading\/writing problems.    Write: Outloud: This word processing program allows the students to hear the words that are being typed. This easy to use program contains limited features compared to other word processing programs. It gives immediate feedback through the speech reader and has a feature for pronunciation editing. It has a simple, clean interface and could be used at many levels.    Draft Builder: Draft Builder is a useful software to support reluctant writers to engage in the authoring cycle. In includes a simple concept map, writing templates, revision and editing prompts which support struggling writers to stay organized. A notes features supports the gathering of information the student will later work into the draft. The completed first draft may be exported as a text file and opened in most word processors for revision.    For students who find other methods of brainstorming and concept mapping and word processing difficult or confusing, the software provides transitional support to those environments.    Students with assistive technology requirements may also benefit from the use of this software. Read: Outloud: A text reader that supports students through the use of modeling, scaffolding; and to practice reading strategies to comprehend curricular text.
